ADS Investment Solutions Limited (ADSI) was the Global Investor MENA 2020 top asset management and wealth management firm in what was a highly competitive year.

Saudi Arabia’s Al Rajhi Capital was the top equities and real estate manager in the region while Bahrain’s SICO demonstrated strong multi-asset credentials as it claimed the Global Investor fixed income manager of the year prize.

Vortex Energy, part of EFG Hermes, was the alternatives manager of the year, Jordan’s Arab Bank was the leading cash manager and Qatar’s Al Rayan Investment was the Global Investor best exchange-traded fund provider and Sharia’ manager.

Dubai’s Emirates NBD Asset Management was the best Sukuk manager and Mubasher Financial Services (DIFC) Limited was Global Investor’s best broker in the region for 2020.

Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange (DGCX) was once again the top MENA exchange and CME Group was Global Investor’s top international exchange in the region.

Insight Discovery won the Global Investor consultancy of the year award while Simmons & Simmons was the top law firm in the region.

BNY Mellon was Global Investor’s global custodian in MENA, HSBC was the top sub-custodian, APEX Group won the fund administration category and Citi was the best transition manager.

The country-specific awards were hotly contested. SICO was the main asset management in Bahrain, AB Invest was the top money manager in Jordan, FFA Private Bank was the best manager in Lebanon and Al Rayan Investment won the asset management prize for Qatar. GIB Capital was the top asset manager in Saudi Arabia.

EFG Hermes was the top broker in Egypt, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia while AB Invest was the best broker in Jordan, ADSS was the main brokerage firm in the United Arab Emirates and QNB FS was the top broker in Qatar.
